The educational community of Teresiano Enrique de Ossó Schoolbetter known as “Teresiano”, celebrated his traditional Proclamation in honor of Saint Teresa of Jesus.
The day was full of fervor, enthusiasm and coloruniting students, teachers and parents. The central message was a call to “Live and be crazy for love,” honoring the patron saint of the institution.
The highlight of the event was the spectacular arrival of Jennifer Marilú Cetina Moguelhigh school student, who personified Saint Teresa of Jesus.
She arrived at the venue in an old open-top car, being greeted with a wave of shouts and effusive applause from the entire gathered community.
Emotional message in the proclamation of the Teresiano School of Mérida
From her role, “Santa Teresa” directed an emotional and profound message, inviting the community to seek the true meaning of life in faith and love. Alluding to the saint, he expressed: “I live without living in myself, because I live in each one of you,” exhorting everyone to authenticity.
The personification included a specific message for each educational level: from the “most beautiful flowers” in kindergarten to the call to live with passion in high school.
He concluded with a thanks to parents, teachers and sistersasking his graduating generation to never forget his Teresian essence.
