TIZIMÍN.- What began as the attempt to collect an old debt It ended in a violent fight between two women, this Sunday night, in a property located on 48th and 65th streets in the municipality.
According to versions collected at the scene, one of those involved went to the home to demand payment of an outstanding debtwithout imagining that the conversation would escalate quickly until reaching the blows. During the confrontation, one of the women was injured wound in the palm of the handapparently provoked with a knife.
Neighbors alerted the authorities when they heard the screams and witnessed the fight. In a matter of minutes, elements of the Municipal Police, the SSP and the State Investigation Police (PEI), who secured the area and became aware of what happened.

Paramedics from the SSP and the Red Cross provided first aid to the injured; who were later transferred to the San Carlos Hospital to receive medical attention.
Meanwhile, PEI agents began the corresponding proceedings to clarify the facts and determine responsibilities.
According to first reports, the dispute could be related to a personal conflict that had not been resolved for some time.
