The National Pedagogical University (UPN), Unit 31-A Mérida, announced the opening of the calls 2025-2026 for three programs master’s degree aimed at teacherswhich are listed below.
Master of Education, field: curriculum development (MECDC)
The program will be taught in face-to-face modality on Fridays and Saturdays, both in Merida as in Valladolid. The registration period will be open from September 17 to November 14, 2025and classes will begin on February 14, 2026.
The master’s degree focuses on updating educational programs and strengthening teaching strategies that promote meaningful learning.

Master in Basic Education (MEB)
Also in person in Mérida, this master’s degree offers specializations in Historical Time and Space and in Pedagogy of Difference and Interculturality.
Registrations can be made from October 10 to November 24, 2025with courses starting on January 10, 2026.
The program is designed for basic education professionals who seek to innovate in their pedagogical practice and address the diversity of students.
Master in Higher Secondary Education (MEMS)
The program will be developed in the Valladolid sub-headquarterswith open registration of October 16 to December 5, 2025and will begin February 16, 2026.
The master’s degree is aimed at high school teachers interested in optimizing educational processes and strengthening research and teaching in advanced education contexts.

Admission process at UPN Mérida
The process of admission contemplates:
- Online registration
- Sending documentation: CURP, curriculum vitae, employment certificate and letter of reasons
- Presentation of diagnostic evaluation or test
