Here are the top 12 passes for the 2026 college baseball season. This list doesn’t even come close to covering it.
Henry Ford
Starting with Henry Ford, who transferred from Virginia to Tennessee after hitting .362 with 11 homers and 46 RBIs and earning a preseason All-American berth.
Chris Hakopian
Chris Hakopian transferred from Maryland to Texas A&M to bolster this lineup after hitting .375 at Maryland last season with 14 homers, 60-plus RBIs and 29 homers.
AJ Gracia
AJ Gracia is leaving Duke for Virginia after the Cavaliers lost a piece of their lineup. He hit 15 homers and hit .290 last year. He is a versatile center fielder.
Jarren Advincula
Jarren Advincula, the best player out of the gate, is transferring from Cal to Georgia Tech.
Trent Caraway
Trent Caraway hit 6 homers in the regional last year and is transferring from Oregon State to LSU, the reigning champs. Keep an eye out for him this season.
Trey’s beard
Trey Beard was 7-1 on the mound with a 3.14 ERA last year at Florida Atlantic and will now be at FSU.

Will Gasparino
Another big name that entered the portal last season, Will Gasparino, left Texas to join the UCLA Bruins. The Los Angeles native hit 25 homers in two years at Texas.
Carson Tinney
Carson Tinney was probably one of the biggest names on the portal after finishing last season as a first-team All-American at Notre Dame and establishing himself as one of the best backstops in the country. He hit .350 with 17 homers and will now be in Texas.
Thomas Valinsius
Thomas Valinsius transferred from Virginia State to Mississippi State following coach Brian O’Connor. He hit 97 mph last year and went 6-1.
Drew Whalen
Drew Whalen, the 2025 Western Kentucky Pitcher of the Year, posted a 3.53 ERA and will be at Auburn this year.
Brady Frederick
Brady Frederick, a preseason third-team D1Baseball All-American, has transferred to Tennessee. He had a 2.67 ERA and 76 strikeouts last year.
Jacques Arcamone
Finally, many names are headed to Georgia, including some big names on the mound, but I’m pointing to Jacques Arcamone, who hit .355 with 13 homers and over 60 RBIs last year.
