A armed person opened fire on the synagogue Temple Israel, near Detroit (Michigan) after crashing a car into the building, according to local media reports.
Gunshots are heard in the place, which is currently cordoned off and with columns of smoke coming from the roof of the temple.
At the moment, it is unknown if there are fatalities or injuries.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has condemned this “heartbreaking” attack on the Jewish community.
Whitmer added that her office is working with the US State Police to obtain more information.
