Since before dawn, Israelis were already waving Israeli flags, posters with the faces of the captives and Donald Trump, as well as phrases such as ‘A new day will rise’ and ‘Peace in Israel’ in this Tel Aviv square, which has been hosting rallies and various events to ask for the hostages to return home for two years.

According to the Israeli channel N12, the first round of releases of the live hostages – estimated at around 20 – are expected to take place at 8:00 local time in the Netzarim corridor area of ​​Gaza, a line that divides the strip from east to west below its capital.

Later, at 10:00 a.m. local time, this channel says, Hamas and the Palestinian militias will free the rest in the Khan Yunis area (southern of the Strip) and in the camps in central Gaza.
