The Delfins are the most recent guests of Posto Emissor. In the BLITZ podcast, Miguel Ângelo and Fernando Cunha discussed ticket prices for shows in Portugal, based on a concert they participated in in the 80s, with names like Sétima Legião or Heróis do Mar (Rock in Concert, in 1985), in which the ticket cost just 50 escudos, 10 more than the price of the newspaper “Expresso” in the same year (today, the newspaper costs 5 euros).
“For Portuguese people, music festivals are not cheap. Now that they are much cheaper than abroad, they are”, said guitarist Fernando Cunha. “That’s why many international musicians hold concerts here, with people coming from abroad to watch.” “Maybe football tickets are also expensive, but people go… It’s also a question of people’s choice”, counters Miguel Ângelo.
The Delfins are currently preparing the “U Outro Lado” tour, dedicated to their lesser-known themes, which kicks off in December, passing through Lisbon, Coimbra, Braga, Porto and Aveiro.
