Wisconsin, Florida, Auburn, West Virginia and Texas each pulled off a series of shocking upsets on a wild Saturday in college basketball as they each swept ranked opponents. Check out all the action below in this exciting game.
On Saturday, Wisconsin stunned No. 2 Michigan and rallied from a 14-point halftime deficit to win 91‑88, handing the Wolverines their first loss of the season.
The Badgers trailed 31‑17 midway through the first half, but behind John Blackwell, who scored 16 of his team-high 26 points before halftime. Wisconsin closed the half on a 10-0 run, holding Michigan scoreless for the final 3:53 to trail just 38-37 at the break.

Freshman Alexas Bieliauskas caught fire in the second half for Wisconsin, hitting four 3-pointers in the first three minutes of the half. His shot put the Badgers up 59-55 at which point the two feuds began trading. At the start of the second half, Wisconsin shot more than 85 percent, but Michigan made seven straight shots to tie the game at 65-65.
The teams continued to go back and forth with the teams tied at seven and five points apart, but Andrew Rohde hit the decisive 3-pointer with 3 minutes left to give Wisconsin an 88-84 lead. The Wolverines had no choice but to start fouling and closed within two in the final minute, but Wisconsin held the ball and closed out the upset.

The win capped one of Wisconsin’s most impressive performances of the season, shooting 14-of-18 from the field and 9-of-12 from deep in the second half, and getting the defense right against a Michigan team that has dominated opponents all year.
West Virginia dominates second half to beat No. 22 Kansas 85-75
West Virginia picked up its biggest win of the Ross Hodge era on Saturday, using a dominant second half to beat No. 22 Kansas, 85-75. Tre White’s 3-pointer gave the Jayhawks a 59‑51 lead with 14:55 to play, but they were held scoreless for nearly eight minutes as the Mountaineers went on a 16-0 run. By the time the White drought ended, West Virginia had taken full control of the game, taking a 67‑59 advantage.
Honor Huff capped his comeback with 23 points and 17 points after halftime to cap a four-point game in double figures. Brenen Lorient had 18 points and 6 assists, while Harlan Obioha had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
West Virginia’s defense held Kansas to just 13 points on 30 possessions on 31 percent shooting in the second half. The Mountaineers improved to 11‑5 and will see another ranked opponent on Tuesday when they visit No. 7 Houston.
15th-ranked Arkansas 95-73 behind Keyshawn Hall’s 30 possessions from Auburn.
Auburn had its most complete game of the year under Steve Pearl. The Tigers beat No. 15 Arkansas 95‑73 for their first SEC win. Keyshawn Hall powered the Tigers with a dominant 30-point performance, scoring 18 points in the first half, hitting five 3-pointers and dishing out five assists. His first offense and second-half burst gave Auburn a 49-34 halftime lead and 25.
KeShon Murphy had 16 points and 10 rebounds for his first Auburn double-double, while Elijah Freeman had 13 points and six rebounds. The Tigers controlled the glass, outscoring Arkansas 22-12 in the first half and finishing with nine three-pointers before halftime. Auburn used runs of 8‑0 and 11‑0 to gain momentum and never trailed after the opening minutes.
Junior Darius Acuff led Arkansas with 19 points, but the Razorbacks had no answer for Auburn’s physicality as the Tigers improved to 10‑6.
Florida falls to No. 21 Tennessee in Boogie Fland’s 91‑67 SEC upset.
Florida defeated No. 21 Tennessee 91‑67 in Gainesville against Boogie Fland. Fland, who shot just 19% from three, finished with a season-high 23 points, five assists and four steals in the first half. His back-to-back triples, steals and game-winning jumper capped a 22-7 run that put the Gators up 41-28 at halftime.
Junior center Ruben Chinyelu dominated the interior with 17 points and 16 rebounds, setting a physical tone by outplaying Tennessee’s Felix Okpara. Florida was outscored 41-30 and turned 18 Tennessee turnovers into 30 points. Urban Klawzar had 15 points and Thomas Howe had 13, and four other Gators reached double figures as UF shot 58% and 80% at the line after halftime.
Nate Ament led Tennessee with 17 points, but the Vols never really threatened after Florida’s first surge. The Gators improved to 11‑5 with their second straight win over a ranked opponent.
Texas is defending No. 13 Alabama with a 92‑88 road upset
Behind clutch touchdowns by Jordan Pope and Tramon Marks, Texas State closed out its own one-game upset Saturday, beating No. 13 Alabama 89‑85 in Tuscaloosa. Coming into the game 0‑2, the Longhorns led by double digits in the second half behind strong defense and strong rebounding from Papa, who scored 24 points. Mark added 22 and 16 points in the first half as Texas shot 50% before halftime.
Alabama came back with an 11-1 run to close the first half, eventually pulling within one on a Taylor Ball Bowen 3-pointer, but Texas was able to steady itself despite foul trouble and a free-throw attack. The Longhorns held the Tide to within one in the first half of the second, answering an Alabama push with timely threes and late free throws.
The win made Texas 10‑6 and gave Sean Miller his biggest win of the season.
