In Fundão, in the village of Alcongosta, the Quinta Ciência Viva das Cerejas e das Ideias opened (the first Ciência Viva Farm in the country!).
Com more than 700 cherry trees plantedmany of them monitored with digital sensors (known as cherry garden 4.0), the space invites young people, families and schools to discover how science can make the agriculture more sustainable and efficient, while valuing a product so typical of the region: cherry.
