MÉRIDA, Yucatán.— This Friday morning, a report was recorded at 9-1-1 emergency number about the water heater explosion in a property located on 44th and 31st streets of the Residential neighborhood Los Pinosin Mérida, in which no injuries were reported.
The information collected indicates that elements of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) immediately went to the scene and confirmed that the heating unit had a failure that led to fire in the area where it was installed. Personnel from the SSP Fire Department carried out maneuvers to control the incident, as well as cooling work to rule out additional risks.
