President Trump and the Mayor-elect of New York, Zohran Mamdani, held a meeting at the White House that both described as cordial and productive.

Los Angeles, November 21 (LaOpinión).- The President of States Joined (EU), Donald Trumpand the Mayor elected of Nueva York, Zohran Mamdanithey agreed to work together on a agenda that helps improve the lives of New Yorkers.
“I want to congratulate you,” said the American president in a press conference in the Office Ovalafter the private meeting with Mamdani. The relationship between the two seemed friendly.
“I think you will have, hopefully, an excellent Mayor. The better he does, the happier I will be. I will say that there is no difference in party, there is no difference in anything, and we will help him make everyone’s dream come true: to have a strong and very safe New York. Congratulations!”

Mamdani listened to President Trump, standing next to him and looking at him, and thanked him for the meeting: “I appreciate the meeting with the President. As he himself mentioned, it was a productive meeting, focused on a place of shared admiration and love: New York City.”
“We talked about the need to provide affordable housing to New Yorkers, all eight and a half million people… We talked about rent, we talked about food, we talked about utilities and the various ways that people are forced to leave.”
