World Athletics Championships. Auriol Dongmo and Jessica Inchude take eighth and ninth place in the shot put

Portuguese Auriol Dongmo and Jessica Inchude came in eighth and ninth place, respectively, in the shot put at the World Short Track Athletics Championships being held in Torun, Poland.

The two Sporting athletes were far from the podium in a race that was won by the American Chase Jackson with a mark of 20.14 meters, with the Canadian Sarah Mitton (19.78) and Axelina Johansson (19.75) taking the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

Dongmo reached 18.82 meters, while Inchude did not go beyond 18.77.
