Risk of poisoning panics employees of a metal tube factory: 20 people arrested and examined

This volatile chemical, which evaporates quickly into the air, can cause eye and respiratory irritation, headaches, dizziness, nausea and drowsiness, especially with prolonged exposure.

A chemical risk that worries

According to The Dauphiné Libéréthe leak would be due to faulty equipment. Around 10 a.m., around fifty firefighters were dispatched to the site, including a team specializing in chemical and biological risks.

Fortunately, none of the twenty employees showed symptoms requiring hospitalization. The leak was quickly sealed by the operator, and firefighters carried out checks to ensure that the product had dissipated.
