MADELEINE McCann, Christian Brueckner’s main suspect, will be moved to council accommodation after months in a tent in the forests of northern Germany.
The convicted pedophile and rapist, 49, has been camping in the forest since he was released from prison in September, causing fear and outrage among locals.

Officials say he is expected to move by Thursday after protests from residents demanding action over safety concerns.
Brueckner had previously rejected council housing and decided to remain homeless.
The accommodation he refused is supposed to be a converted shipping container.
Protest leader Annika B said: “It’s a disaster.
“I feel so sorry for his victims.
“She has to live with fear and nightmares while he is free to roam.
Brueckner is the main suspect of the German prosecutor in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in 2007.
He denies involvement and has not been charged.
