The pope also criticized those who hoard and waste food in front of those who don’t need it.
“There is bread for everyone if it is given to everyone. There is bread for everyone if it is taken not with a hand that takes, but with a hand that gives”, he stated.
“By doing so, food becomes abundant: it is not rationed because of an emergency, it is not stolen because of disputes, it is not wasted by those who feast before those who have nothing to eat.”he added.
After Mass, the Pope paid a private visit to the Catholic hospital “Saint Paul”. After a moment of prayer in the chapel, he visited several sick people, including the elderly and children.
