Alverca moved up this Saturday, April 3, provisionally to 10th place in the I Liga after winning, 2-1, in the visit to Rio Ave, which had three consecutive victories, in a game in the 28th round.
After nine rounds without winning, the Alverquenses opened the scoring with Lucas Figueiredo, after just five minutes, with Sandro Lima (21′) increasing the advantage, launching the Ribatejos to their first victory since January 17th, when they prevailed at home against Moreirense (2-1).
After three defeats and six draws, Alverca has 32 points and overtook Rio Ave, who was further reduced by Spaniard Jalen Blesa (59′), now occupying 11th place, with 30. The Vilacondenses returned to defeat, after four rounds without losing and three consecutive victories.
