An Upstate NY gas station is selling a $2 million ticket for Friday’s Mega Millions

A $2 million winning ticket was sold at a gas station in Upstate New York after Friday’s Mega Millions drawing.

No one matched all the numbers for the grand prize.

The second place ticket, sold at the Citgo Food Mart in Pine Island (Orange County), included a 2X multiplier that doubled its value from $1 million to $2 million. The Mega Multiplier feature randomly assigns a multiplier upon purchase and can increase lower tier prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X, potentially increasing the second prize up to $10 million.

Friday’s winning numbers were 30-42-49-53-66 with Mega Ball 4.

The jackpot now stands at an estimated $266 million with a cash option of about $120.8 million for Tuesday’s drawing. The last jackpot winner won $90 million on December 2.

According to the game’s official website, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.

Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands. Tickets are $5.
