Bridgestone profit grows 11.3% in 2025, driven by US sales

Japanese tire manufacturer Bridgestone achieved an attributable net profit of 317,106 million yen (1,740 million euros) in 2025, an increase of 11.3% compared to 2024, the company reported today.

Bridgestone recorded revenue of around 4.42 trillion yen (24,305 million euros) last year, practically the same result as the 4.43 trillion recorded in 2024.

The North American market was once again where the manufacturer achieved its best sales results, closing the year with 2.13 trillion yen (11,692 million euros), although with a drop of 2% due to the effect of tariffs.

In its national market, Japan was the second market for the brand, with a sales volume valued at 1.26 billion yen (6,949 million euros), thus achieving a 3% increase in its operations in annual terms.

In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the manufacturer also saw its turnover grow 2%, to 852,000 million yen (4,682 million euros).

On the other hand, in its Asia-Pacific market, India and China recorded a 4% year-on-year drop to 517,800 million yen (2,842 million euros).

For 2026, Bridgestone expects a 3.9% increase in profit to 340 billion yen (around 1,860 million euros. In addition, it expects its revenues to be 4.5 trillion yen (around 24,705 million euros), 2% more than last year.
