The bold, multi-Caesarean actress suffered from Lewy body disease (LCD), a neurodegenerative disease. TF1 weather presenter Catherine Laborde, who died on January 28, 2025 at the age of 73, also suffered from this disease.
Nathalie Baye has been ill and in a worrying state of health since last summer. She is dead “Friday evening at his Parisian home from Lewy body disease”his family, including his daughter Laura Smet, told AFP in a joint statement.
What is Lewy body disease?
Lewy body disease (LBD) is the second most common neurocognitive disease after Alzheimer’s disease. It is a complex disease which borrows certain symptoms from Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, specifies the website of the Brain Research Foundation.
