What is the state of mind of the men of the 17th RGP a few hours after the tragedy?

We are in an atmosphere of mourning. There was first shock and then sadness, but the paratroopers know how to get back up. In twenty years, this is the tenth soldier from the 17th to fall in operation.

Who was Staff Sergeant Montorio?

He was an exceptional soldier. He joined in 2007 and joined the 17th in 2008. He was deeply generous and courageous. For example, he saved a seriously injured comrade in Afghanistan in a very complicated situation. In nineteen years, he took part in numerous missions. He had immense qualities, including that of transmitting the experience that he himself had received. Florian was at the end of his military career and he had to return to civilian life. We lose a companion in the prime of life who leaves too soon.
