Iran’s Revolutionary Guards closes Strait of Hormuz until US lifts blockade, “Violating vessels will be targeted”


Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announced in a statement on the social networking service Telegram on the 18th that it would close off the Strait of Hormuz from the evening of the same day. “Approaching the Strait of Hormuz will be considered an act of cooperation with the enemy, and any vessel in violation will be subject to attack,” the Revolutionary Guards statement said.
