Mudum, an insurance company belonging to the Crédit Agricole group, closed 2025 with 83,046 policies sold and a portfolio of more than 452 thousand active policies, according to the Report and Accounts released this Tuesday, April 14.
In a year of normalization after the relevant growth in 2024, net profit stood at around 2.5 million euros and gross premiums written totaled 88.4 million euros, an increase of 5% compared to 2024.
The automobile sector was the main sales driver, registering a 25% growth in policies sold, while multi-risk housing and health offers were consolidated.
Mudum reported a combined ratio of 97% and a solvency ratio of 175%, indicators that the company presents as evidence of prudent management and robust solvency.
The insurer insists on investing in digitalization and partnerships as growth vectors. Last year, it consolidated its alliance with JAP Seguros and established new collaborations with MDS and Munich Re, with a special focus on the automotive segment.
On a social and financial level, the company reports 49.3 million euros paid in compensation during the year.
As for human resources, Mudum maintained 97 employees in 2025, 99% with permanent employment, and provided around 4,500 hours of training, being recognized for the third time as a “Great Place to Work”.
In the document, CEO Afonso Themudo Barata states that, “despite the particularly demanding context, we maintained a consistent path of positive growth, reinforcing our ability to adapt and transform”.
For 2026, the insurer highlights priorities focused on accelerating digital transformation, strengthening the multi-partnership model, sustained growth in the automobile, housing and protection segments, and the increased integration of ESG criteria in its investment decisions.
