Traffic will be restricted on the night of Friday to Saturday on Main Itinerary 3 (IP3) and Complementary Itinerary 6 (IC6) for the dismantling of signaling gantries, Estradas de Portugal (IP) announced this Thursday, April 16.
In a statement, that body said that the signaling gantries located at kilometer 43.258 of IP3 (direction Coimbra/Viseu) and at kilometer 0.291 of IC6 (direction Arganil/Penacova) will be dismantled.
“To minimize impacts on circulation, work takes place at night, between 10pm on April 17th and 6am on April 18th”, says the note.
However, in order to carry out the work, IP highlighted that it is necessary to “condition traffic, with occasional interruptions to circulation in the mentioned locations”.
“The work area and the respective facilities will be properly signposted and will be monitored by teams from the GNR Transit Detachment in the district of Coimbra,” said the statement.
