A place to have fun, a land to grow vegetables
A few failures punctuated the renovation of the northern commercial zone (ZCN), launched in 2014, as part of a ZAC (concerted development zone), carried out by the Frey company in partnership with the EMS (Eurométropole de Strasbourg).
The collective that brought the producers’ store and restaurant The Furrow failed to gain acceptance for this concept. After the closure of the store and the restaurant, there remains the idea of an agro-park to be built behind the Carrefour hypermarket. The developer wishes to reactivate this project in collaboration with the Chamber of Agriculture and find a market gardener ready to get started.
