Campus television gets digital upgrade

ENC’s analog cable television system was upgraded to a digital system over Christmas break. The upgrade was completed on Dec. 20.

All television sets will need to be re-programmed with the new system. Most televisions can be re-programmed by going into the TV’s menu and finding an auto-program function, which will complete a channel scan. Some older televisions will not receive cable channels without an analog-to-digital converter.

Televisions with a QAM tuner and cable input that are capable of auto programming should work.

The ENC Web site does have frequently asked questions, but students with any questions should email service@privatelinc.com.
