The Executive SGA final election results were announced on Friday, Feb. 21.

The 2014-15 SGA staff is: President Crystal Erb, Director of Finance/Vice President Jake Johnson, Administrative Assistant Maddi McDonough, Director of Student Events Tyler Oates, Director of Recreational Life Tyler Spencer, Director of Student Ministries Hannah Dawber, and Director of Publicity Savannah Sivert.

During election week, students learned about each candidate’s goals. From the inspirational words of Erb’s tree of growth to Johnson’s movement toward financial transparency, students heard a variety of campaign promises.

At the annual ice cream social, students showed plenty of excitement as current SGA President Ryan Piesco announced the new members of the executive council.

“We are already getting to know each other really well,” Erb said.

Erb is looking forward to the opportunity to work with next year’s staff.

“I am really excited to get to know the whole student body,” she added.

Although it is a semester early, some of next year’s SGA members are already planning to keep the promises they promoted during campaigning.

“I want to continue to pursue my motto, which is, ‘More about we and less about me,’” Dawber said.

Next year’s SGA will travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene University from April 2-6 for Nazarene Student Leadership Conference
