We all know that it is difficult to imagine new stories, not to mention impossible. But with a little (or a lot) of effort, imagination, humor and curiosity, you can do things we’ve never seen before, we show lysergic, psychoanalytic and wild mind which far exceeds the expectations of most places of the viewer and even the lover of the bizarre, extravagant and eccentric. All to the good.
Bryan Fuller (Lewiston, 1969) pertenece, año arriba, año abajo, a same generation odd who justly, necessarily and delightfully supplied the fantasy genreof terror and science fiction from the hands of directors and the most heterosexual lovers and their “elevated” authorial peaks, tending to raise above all the level of boredom and empty and imposed claims in their work. Generations of Ryan Murphy, Kevin Williamson, Don Mancini and the now-defunct Bryan Singer, not forgetting the oldest of the bunch: Christopher Landon.
Although there are happy examples among creators who are not necessarily gay, such as Joss Whedon, the first Tim Burton, the great Luc Besson, and including Lynch – in my opinion, all the same odd y glamMore than any particular sexual orientation, I get the impression that only one of these lucky fantasy fans was brought up in the world willingly and unwillingly. camp a tradition that belongs to Murnau and James Whale to continue until something similar happens to John Waters Atrapando is a monsterthis “conejo de polvo” – see how Spanish it sounds in the original title – which it probably is one of the best movies of the year.
Only to some deeply imbued people trashy, camp, glam, kitsch and some other anglicism that I can’t remember now if I could connect them with fantasy Professional de Besson s Matilda by Roald Dahl (y Danny DeVito); the saga of John Wick with Where the monsters live de Maurice Sendak (y Spike Jonze); convert to El invisible Harvey Mary Chase (and Henry Koster) in Fred M. Wilcox’s (and Shakespeare’s) Monster Id from Forbidden Planet, adding Sigourney Weaver to the mix with needle tacones no, de revolver, a worthy execution of Norman Bates’ (bad) education.
Everyone, formally merged it personal version of aesthetic colorist Jean Pierre Jeunetwith imaginative and sophisticated use of the camera, virtuous action scenes choreographed within farce estoico de Buster Keaton (very suitable for Mikkelsen and Dastmalchian) and ball ballet Hong Kong cinema.
Added to the endless details of clothing and equipment we have in the dream language objet trouvé surreal, adding more ambiguity to one the modern Freudian story of hadaswho no doubt still had the Reverend Dodgson’s pleasure. Especially if Alicia’s creator is now a fan of manga and fictional art. We need Bryan Fuller to leave the series a bit and do more cinematography.
