DXC Technology expands operations in Lisbon with 100 new qualified jobs in AI and digital services

The American multinational DXC Technology announced, this Monday, the 20th, an investment in Lisbon that will result in the creation of 100 new qualified jobs, as part of the expansion of its Business Process Services (BPS) area.

The decision is the result of a sustained increase in demand for specialized digital services, especially in the banking, insurance, utilities and public administration.

According to Adolfo Martinho, general director of DXC Portugal, the country confirms itself as a “center of excellence” for the provision of these services, thanks to the available talent and proximity to European markets. He also highlights that the company’s proposal goes beyond traditional outsourcing, stating that the technology used serves “to make customer processes more efficient, with automation, AI and analytical tools”.

The expansion of DXC’s operational capacity in Portugal, where it already has a solid presence, more specifically in Lisbon, corresponds to a growth of close to 30% in the team dedicated to BPS. Hiring focuses on senior and technical profiles — managers, analysts, supervisors, business coordinators and specialists in methodologies and technologies such as AI applied to processes, voicebots e chatbots — with in-depth experience in the target sectors, highlights in a statement released to the press.

In Portugal, the Business Process Services unit already manages critical services such as fraud management and a wide range of security operations. back‑office e front‑office for large national and international clients.
