Global Media Group, owner of Diário de Notícias, concluded today the sale of the shareholdings it held in Notícias Ilimitadas and Rádio Notícias, which hold titles such as JNthe sports The Game and TSF, the two companies announced in a joint statement.
“Following this change, Global Notícias no longer has a stake in the two companies mentioned”, says the statement. Global Notícias owned 30% of Notícias Ilimitadas and 10% of Rádio Notícias. The value of the operation was not disclosed.
“With the operation, Notícias Ilimitadas and Rádio Notícias become 100% owned by Verbos Imaculados, which ensures the strategic development of the titles that make up its universe. In addition to those already mentioned, magazines are also at stake Evasions, Around the World, News Magazine, JN History, NTV e Theirs“, he added.
The two companies emphasize that the negotiation took place “within a framework of institutional dialogue and mutual cooperation”, ending a corporate relationship that began on July 30, 2024.
“Noticias Ilimitadas, Rádio Noticias and Verbos Imaculados reaffirm their commitment to the editorial, business and strategic valorization of the brands that make up their portfolio, continuing their respective activities with the priority of consolidating and growing their projects”, highlighted the company led by Domingos Andrade.
“Global Notícias, in turn, marks the conclusion of this process as the end of its participation in these companies, wishing the greatest success to Notícias Ilimitadas, Rádio Noticias, Verbos Imaculados and the teams that ensure the development of the respective publications and operations”, highlighted the company led by Luís Figueiredo Trindade.
