Spain will propose on Tuesday to the European Union that it break the association agreement with Israel, due to “human rights violations” by Benjamin Netanyahu’s government. The announcement was made this Sunday, April 19, by the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.
“That Government that violates international law – and therefore violates the principles and values of the European Union – cannot be a partner of the European Union. It’s simple“, stated the head of the Spanish Government, in the municipality of Gibraleón, province of Huelva, during the pre-campaign for the regional elections in Andalusia.
