The 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon announced by US President Donald Trump could be a major step forward in advancing a peace agreement with Iran. Israel continues to bomb Iranian proxies in Lebanon even after a two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran was announced on the 7th. The Iranian government said it was a violation of the ceasefire, and said it threatened its fragile ceasefire with the United States. In response, the United States and Israel said Lebanon was included in the ceasefire with Iran.
