0001 Christian-College-List

Christian Universities Online has included ENC on their 2015 list of the 50 most affordable Christian colleges. ENC’s average net cost per year is listed at $14,867.

ENC received rank number 11 on the list, bookended by North Greenville University in South Carolina (12), and Emmanuel College, in Georgia (10).

Schools that have been accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), or Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) were compared based on average financial aid and scholarships against initial tuition.

Rankings hope to provide help for students who want to understand the actual costs, rather than just the “sticker price” associated with attending a particular college or university.  Christian Universities Online calculates the net price by including the average financial aid package set against the initial tuition.

Christian Universities Online stated that the list that all of the college costs include an average financial aid package. The organization pointed out that to many aspiring students the starting price of any college, which includes no financial aid, can seem daunting or impossible.

“With that in mind,” they said, “we have put together a ranking of the 50 most affordable Christian colleges in the U.S. to help students navigate the true cost of attending these schools.”

Since most colleges will attempt to provide financial aid or scholarships if a prospective student wishes to attend, most average net price tags are somewhat different from the stated price of attending the college.
