Shocking moment another Russian ‘penguin’ blows up soldier on battlefield while wearing bizarre anti-drone camouflage

THIS is the dramatic moment another Russian soldier dressed in a penguin mask is spotted on the battlefield and taken out.

Footage captured by a Ukrainian weapons system shows a soldier in a white coat marked with black spots, blending into the frozen terrain.

As the camera zooms in, the soldier hiding under the “invisibility cloak” stumbles forward.

A clear footprint can be seen in the snow behind him, revealing his identity.

Moments later he is hit by a Ukrainian drone.

As a result, Ukraine’s 120th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces posted online: “Hunting for ‘penguins’ brings new results.”

The incident is one of the latest tactics used by Russian forces along the front line.

It is believed that these disguises are an attempt to avoid drone detection and reduce visibility from the air.

However, Ukrainian forces say this tactic proved ineffective and the soldier was quickly neutralized.

Ukraine first reported sightings of the unusual camouflage a few days ago, describing a Russian soldier “wearing a bulky white coat with dark spots and an element resembling a penguin’s head”.

Serhii Beskrestnov, an adviser to Ukraine’s defense minister, said: “Such cases point to the ongoing experiments of the Russian military with methods of covert movement, and therefore Ukrainian soldiers must take such threats into account when conducting combat missions.”

The curious episode comes as the US plan to guarantee Ukraine’s security “100 percent” is ready for signature, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Ukrainian leader said he was now just waiting for the time and place to formalize the deal – a move that could mark a major step towards ending Vladimir Putin’s brutal war.

Once signed, the agreement will be sent to both the US Congress and the Ukrainian parliament for ratification.

“For us, security guarantees are primarily a guarantee of security from the United States,” Zelenskyy said.

“The document is 100 percent ready and we are waiting for our partners to confirm the date and place for us to sign it.”

But hopes for immediate progress were dampened after US-brokered talks between Russian and Ukrainian negotiators in Abu Dhabi failed to produce a breakthrough.

Within hours of the talks ending, Moscow launched a ferocious night-time attack that killed at least one person and plunged millions into darkness.

Critical infrastructure was targeted, including central heating systems and power grids, leaving civilians without electricity or heating as temperatures dropped below freezing.

Zelenskyy said Russia launched more than 370 attack drones and 21 missiles of various types during the firefight.

The talks raised cautious hopes after US officials indicated the discussions had gone “better than expected”.

There have even been indications that a face-to-face summit between the two leaders could now be on the table.

The Kremlin struck a more cautious tone, saying the talks had taken place in a “constructive spirit” while warning that “significant work” still lay ahead.
