The president of France, Emmanuel Macronopens this Tuesday at Paris an international meeting to relaunch the use of nuclear power to generate electricityat a time when the war in Middle East exposes the fragility of economies dependent on the oil imported.
The event organized by France will bring together some 40 countries and international organizations, including representatives of USA y Chinamain historical actors in the sector.

There will also be European countries and members of the G7although it will not have the participation of Russiaanother giant in the sector, due to the war in Ukraine.
The summit is organized together with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in a year marked by the 15th anniversary of the nuclear power plant accident Fukushima, Japanand the 40th anniversary of the catastrophe of Chernobyl, Ukraine.

Fallen from grace after the accident at the Japanese power plant in 2011, the sector is experiencing renewed interest in the world, driven by the challenges of energy sovereignty and the need to decarbonize energy due to climate change.
