The weekends follow one another and are similar to Nancy. On the night of Friday to Saturday April 11, two attacks, one of which was homophobic, took place near Place Stanislas. A week later, on the night of Friday to Saturday April 18, it was in the new Crazy Palma nightclub that a serious incident occurred.
The establishment is located far from any housing, in a commercial area, near the Marcel-Brot roundabout, and it opened its doors only a little over two weeks ago, on April 3.
On social networks, customers reported a fight around 3 a.m. with the nightclub being evacuated by the police.
Two people suffered stab wounds and were evacuated by firefighters to the emergency room of the Central Hospital. “There was blood everywhere, a shocking and unacceptable scene,” says a witness on the nightclub’s Google reviews page.
“A vision of horror”
We were able to contact him and he confirms: “I did not see the attack directly. I just saw the big pools of blood. One victim was stabbed in the stomach and another in the leg. It was a vision of horror. »
“A security guard applied a tourniquet to the man who had been injured in the leg and a bartender jumped over the counter to try to subdue the stabbing man. My staff was extraordinary,” affirms, for his part, the boss of the establishment. But the man with the knife managed to escape.
Everything changed when he showed up at the bar a little earlier and ordered a drink.
“You buy me my drink”
“He then turned to his neighbor and said: “You, buy me my drink”. The other told him no and, straight away, he planted him. That’s for sure, because it happened just a few centimeters from my bartender! Then my staff felt like they knew each other and it was more of a settling of scores. But it’s only an impression for the moment,” says the owner of the nightclub, very shaken by what happened.
He checked on the victims: “They are doing well,” he assured. The manager of Crazy Palma also immediately took measures to strengthen the security of his establishment: “I already have three doormen and eighteen cameras but the next evening, we also used a metal detector to filter the entrances. »
The law of silence
If the owner of the nightclub plays the game of transparency, this is not the case for the public authorities. When contacted, the Nancy public prosecutor remained silent on this new news item which gives a worrying image of Nancy nights.
On the police side, they simply indicate that “an investigation is underway”. The opposite would be surprising. Will the mayor of Nancy need to communicate, as was the case a few days ago for the homophobic attack, so that justice and the police can be more talkative? Time will tell.
