Anguish once again settled in three Mexican municipalities where relatives and neighbors have had to organize to search for young people whose whereabouts remain a mystery.
The story of Jeshua Cisneros Lettuce18 years old, started on the night of November 13, when he was returning home on the side of the highway Mexico–Querétaro. Since then, his family has lived in absolute uncertainty. “The only thing we ask is that you search for him as if he were your son,” reproaches his aunt, desperate for the lack of results.
A similar climate is experienced in Naucalpan, where the disappearance of Kimberly Hilary Moya González It keeps its colony in constant tension. The young student left on October 2 with the intention of making some copies, but never returned.
Although there are two people accused, no clue has allowed us to know their fate. His mother heads daily brigades that tour flea markets, vacant lots and public transportation. “My daughter did not leave of her own free will, someone took her,” he insists while handing out flyers with her photograph.
In Hueypoxtla, the search for Cristofer Gael Morales Montiel, Just 13 years old, it has mobilized practically the entire municipality. The minor disappeared on November 1 during a costume contest.
Civil Protection teams, firefighters and police have visited fields, canals and places without success. “Here we all know him; we cannot sit idly by,” says Don Refugio, a neighbor who joined the work from the first day.
The affected communities have set up collection centers, organized mass combings and disseminated search information on social networks and public transportation. However, they point out that the institutional response has been slow and bureaucratic.
