Almost $50 worth of Chipotle Mexican Grill gift cards will be up for grabs at halftime of the women’s basketball game tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 1.
The Veritas News is hosting a free throw competition at halftime of the women’s game against Curry College.
Students may enter the competition free of charge, but will be required to enter before the 10-minute mark of the first half.
Participants will have to make one of two free throws to advance to the next round. Once there are three participants remaining, the final three will each have 30 seconds to make as many free throws as they can.
The person that makes the most free throws in the final round will win a $25 Chipotle gift card. Second and third place will win $10 each.
Be sure to see Cody Shepard either prior to the start of the women’s basketball game, or before 10 minutes have elapsed in the first half. After the first 10 minutes of the women’s game, no one will be allowed to enter the competition.
