Around 6:30 p.m., this Saturday April 18, a collision between a cyclist and a tram occurred in the middle of downtown Strasbourg, particularly crowded on this sunny Saturday. The cyclist appeared on the route of the tram which was traveling between Alt Winmärik and Iron Man Square.
The victim, an adult man whose age is not known, was treated by the emergency services in “fairly serious” condition, according to a police source. The driver of the train, very shocked, was taken into care.
Traffic on lines B, C and F was disrupted during the incident, but has since returned to normal on all lines.
