Doubs. Dismantling of a deal point in Morteau: 29,000 euros of merchandise seized

Following an anonymous report made on the government website “My Security”, a deal point was dismantled this Wednesday April 15 in an apartment in Morteau.

It all started three weeks ago when the report was made, leading to the opening of an investigation by the gendarmerie. An anti-narcotics group has been set up within the Pontarlier research brigade. Surveillance immediately corroborates with the report issued, leading to the arrest of the individual managing the deal point by the Montbenoît Psig. In his apartment, the soldiers seized 170 grams of cannabis resin, 50 grams of cocaine, 700 ecstasy tablets, 3.2 kg of ketamine as well as 30 grams of weed, for an estimated street value of 29,000 euros.

Seizure of a sawed-off shotgun

Beyond the drugs, the police got their hands on 555 euros, a sawed-off shotgun as well as computer equipment, including two mobile phones. The dealer had around twenty regular customers and his deal point, which had been active since January 2025, brought him between 15,000 and 20,000 euros every month. Tried this Friday morning, April 17 in Besançon, the forty-year-old, known to the courts but not for facts related to drug trafficking, was sentenced to thirty months in prison, fifteen of which are closed. He was incarcerated in the Besançon remand center.
