Since the dawn of time, there has been one man who changed the face of the news. His name is Ron Burgundy.

Of course, Ron Burgundy isn’t a real person, but an unconventional ad campaign for “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” has seen Burgundy, played by Will Ferrell, showing up and presenting the news for actual television news stations.

The movie is set a few years after the events of the first “Anchorman” movie. At this point in time, Ron Burgundy is “living the life.” He is married to Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), has a six-year-old son, and is living in New York City doing what he loves most: reporting the news.

But then Ron gets fired by his boss, Mack Tannen (Harrison Ford). The epic movie title “Anchorman 2” flashes on the screen, setting the audience up for an incredible adventure.

Burgundy meets up with Champ Kind (David Koechner), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) to ask if they will work with him on a 24-hour news station in New York. They agree, and the gang heads off to start a new chapter in their lives.

Throughout the movie there are many laughs and quotable lines.

Overall, this film is a grand adventure filled with a star-studded cast, celebrity cameos, a monumental fight scene, and a bunch of laugh-out-loud interactions between the gang. If you have seen the first movie, you won’t be disappointed.

“Anchorman 2” is less raunchy than the first one and is aimed at the 18-24 age range.

So should you see it? I give it a “yes.”
