Dr. Mary Paul, Point Loma University’s vice president of spiritual development, is leading ENC’s fall revival beginning Oct. 9.
Paul will be sharing about receiving and extending forgiveness. She is excited about what God will do through these revival services.
“My hope is that the Holy Spirit would be at work in our lives together,” Paul said. “I hope that as we lean in together to hear from God, we would have ears that hear and hearts that respond to whatever good gifts God knows [are] needed.”
Paul is a 1983 graduate of ENC. She received her B.A. in social work at ENC before moving on to get her Master of Divinity at Boston University. She received her doctorate from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Paul has experience as both a pastor and a writer. She co-pastored St. Paul’s Church of the Nazarene in Duxbury, Mass. for about two years. She has also been a pastor in Lynn, Mass., and right here in Quincy at Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
In 2011, her book “Women Who Lead: The Call of Women in the Ministry,” in which she talks about her journey as a female pastor, was published.
Paul’s son Wesley is a 2013 graduate of ENC.
Paul will lead revival services at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday night, as well as Wednesday and Friday morning chapel.
